I recently carried out our first Inter-Continental NLP Assessment via Skype for one of our delegates on the Business Practitioner Course.
Joy Holroyd, who had completed the course but not the final, knowledge part of the assessment process moved to Peru before day 6 – the assessment day- of the Practitioner course.
We were hoping to set up a video link so that she could join the rest of the group when they did their assessment but Joy was off in the Mountains in Northern Peru so couldn’t make it as there certainly isn’t a reliable broadband hub that far off the beaten track.
Undaunted, we arranged to carry out the assessment on a one-to-one basis and used Skype to make this happen.
I picked questions out of the bag at random, as would occur in the assessment for all students, held them up to the camera and Joy answered them.
She passed! and is now our first Practitioner to have passed the course whilst on a different continent.
It just goes to show that there is always a way to make things happen if you really want them to.
We run our practitioner courses twice a year, both the Practitioner and Master Practitioner – get in touch if you’d like more information.
